Recycled polyester

  •  Wash polyester (recycled) clothing in cold or lukewarm water (max. 30°C). This helps preserve the fiber and prevents damage.
  • Do not use bleach.
  •   Hang to dry or tumble dry on low heat.
  • Iron at low temperature.
  •  Recycled polyester can release microplastics when washed. To limit their environmental impact, you can use a laundry bag (like a Guppyfriend) designed to catch these particles and prevent them from ending up in wastewater. Wash your recycled polyester clothes only when necessary.

Recycled polyester has several interesting properties for clothing:

Durability: Recycled polyester retains the durability properties of virgin polyester, making it a robust and wear-resistant material.
Wrinkle Resistance: Recycled polyester is often less prone to wrinkles than some natural fabrics, making it a practical choice for low-maintenance clothing.
Water Resistance: Polyester has low moisture absorption, making it water resistant. Recycled polyester clothing can be used in humid conditions without absorbing too much water.
Ease of care: Recycled polyester clothing is generally easy to care for, as it can often be machine washed and dries quickly.
Versatility: Recycled polyester can be mixed with other fibers to create hybrid fabrics with specific properties, such as elasticity or breathability.
Ecology: By using recycled polyester, we reduce dependence on virgin resources and contribute to the reduction of plastic waste.

However, it is important to note that recycled polyester also retains some of the less desirable properties of conventional polyester, such as its lack of breathability and its environmental impact when washing and disposing of microfibers.

The blend of hemp and recycled polyester combines the distinct characteristics of these two fibers to create a fabric with several beneficial properties:

Durability and Strength: Hemp is naturally sturdy and durable, while recycled polyester adds extra wear resistance, making the fabric more durable overall.
Eco-Friendly: Hemp is a natural fiber grown with little to no pesticides, while recycled polyester uses recycled materials, making it a more eco-friendly choice than conventional polyester.
Breathability: Hemp has breathable properties, allowing air to circulate through the fabric, while recycled polyester can add some lightness and good moisture management.
Comfort: The blend of hemp and recycled polyester can provide a good balance between softness and strength, providing pleasant comfort for clothing.
Care: Clothing made from this blend can be generally easy to care for, as the recycled polyester helps reduce shrinkage and excessive wrinkling, while also making it easier to wash and dry.
Versatility: This blend can be used for a variety of garments, from shirts and pants to jackets and accessories, providing versatility in design and usage options.

By combining these two fibers, the hemp and recycled polyester blend offers a sustainable, comfortable and environmentally friendly alternative for manufacturing clothing.

The blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester combines the distinct characteristics of these two fibers to create a fabric with several beneficial properties:

Comfort and softness: Organic cotton is naturally soft and comfortable against the skin, while recycled polyester can add some strength and durability to the fabric.
Eco-Friendly: Organic cotton is grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers, while recycled polyester uses recycled materials, making it a more eco-friendly choice than conventional polyester.
Breathability: Organic cotton has breathable properties that allow air to circulate through the fabric, helping to regulate body temperature, while recycled polyester can add some lightness and good moisture management.
Durability and Strength: Organic cotton is relatively durable, while recycled polyester adds extra wear resistance, making the fabric more durable overall.
Versatility: This blend can be used for a variety of garments, from t-shirts and sweatshirts to pants and dresses, providing versatility in design and usage options.
Care: Clothing made from this blend can be generally easy to care for, as the recycled polyester helps reduce shrinkage and excessive wrinkling, while also making it easier to wash and dry.

By combining these two fibers, the blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester offers a comfortable, sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative for manufacturing clothing.
