From the tide line to the alpine mountains, most of our adventures lead us into cold, wet, stormy weather—exactly where high-pile Sherpa wool excels. To make an all-season insulating hoodie, for everyday wear or long distances, we’ve chosen a soft, warm, movement-friendly blend of recycled wool. The breathability and temperature regulation of thick knitted wool—which synthetic fleeces attempt to imitate—give it exceptional comfort and performance when worn alone or as a mid-layer under a shell, and the higher-collar hood protects from the wind. A fleece storm flap provides extra warmth, while our unique dye-free production process further helps reduce environmental impact.

• The 17 oz (580 g/m²) 80% recycled wool, 20% nylon high-pile fleece is soft, stretchy, and naturally insulating; the hood is lined with warm 80% post-consumer recycled / 20% nylon Melton wool
• Colors come from original garments; the dye-free process saves water and eliminates harmful chemical dyes
• Full-zip front with a higher collar and spacious hood; the fleece storm flap behind the zipper provides extra warmth and wind protection
• Two kangaroo hand warmer pockets; interior zippered pocket keeps small valuables secure
• Stretchy trim at cuffs and hem; hang loop inside the back collar
